There’s a Parade article from 2016 with Kirk that backs up Jeremy’s story of them working on a reboot before Alan’s death. Kirk mentions they were in discussions with Warner Bros.

In a Today/US Weekly article from June 2019, Jeremy states that they’re doing brainstorming and story creation, and that they want Joanna to direct. That may mean absolutely nothing in the long run, but given how they have had more reunions in the last couple of years, and the actors are beginning to have empty nest syndrome in their own lives ... they may be extra eager to get back into acting.

Nov 21st is the tentative date for Tracey and Jeremy’s appearance on Kirk’s new TBN show. The show was filmed in late 2018 it seems.

An updated article from Closer Weekly with a few new details from Jeremy about the proposed reboot. Says the goal is to get it started next year on the show’s 35th anniversary, and that while it’s still in “pre, pre, pre-production” he has a writer friend who has already put together the first season’s scripts.
