Watched this. I gotta say. How can such a cute little thing like Gizmo turn into such an ugly creature? lol

Whether it was meant to be a Christmas movie or not, I loved the Christmas theme.

Didn't remember that Judge Reinhold was in this. Cool to see him.

That scene when he found Mr. Hanson in the classroom was super creepy. I'd freak out for sure! OMG! Then when he went to the infirmary, I almost jumped out of my skin when the Gremlin popped out!

I wanted to hug poor Gizmo when he was stuck to the dart board, and the Gremlin was throwing darts at him.

Love the scene when the mom went up to the attic. Yikes! I think I would have passed out if I saw that in my attic. That scene was topped off well when "if you hear what I hear" started playing. Love that, but I would have been super afraid to go downstairs and see what was happening.

That mom was so good, though. Loved when she turned on the blender/mixer and got that Gremlin! The microwave explosion was cool, too. She did a good job trying to fight off the Gremlin and then another showed up. I would have been out of that house long before then if it were me!

That Christmas tree was so creepy. I don't know what I'd do if the tree started attacking me. Thank goodness her son came to the rescue. How cool was it to see the Gremlin burn in the fireplace. He made such an evil noise!

That was a cool scene when the lady went up the stairs and out the window!!

Funny how the Gremlins loved to watch Snow White. That was a funny scene.

On a side note, Gizmo looks cute in a backpack! Love when Kate was holding Gizmo, and then Billy kissed her.

Whoa! Freaked out when Billy was at the electronics store/department. He smashed the heck out of that TV that had the Gremlin on it. Then all the TVs lit up with Gremlins on them!

Loved how Gizmo saved the day! He let in the light and the Gremlin wasted away in the fountain. I did jump when his corpse popped out of the fountain, but it was cool how he just melted into nothing.

Aww, did Gizmo tell Billy "I love you"? I couldn't make it out. It was still cute, but sad to see him go.

I'll be sure to check next time my lights go out. There might be a Gremlin in my house!

Well, now I'm bummed that I don't have Gremlins 2.

We have to mark this occasion down. Melis finally saw it! I am so glad you watched and that you had such a positive reaction to it. You did like it, right? Lol. Yes, that was "Love you, Billy" coming from Gizmo at the end. Did you notice it was the "Growing Pains" house the old lady flew out of?

"Gremlins 2" is very different. It takes place in a skyscraper in New York. It's a bit more "self aware" and comical. It's quite a crazy movie but a lot of fun.

Oh, "Gremlins 2" is a lot of fun. It's just kind of different than the first one. Billy works in the building and Kate is a tour guide. This building has everything. Offices, stores, studio, etc.

It does not, no. It's hustle and bustle in New York City. You do see some characters return from the first movie other than Billy and Kate. Ones you thought didn't make it.
