I was watching VH1's Top 50 Teen Idols yesterday and can you believe that NKOTB came in at #19? I certainly thought they'd be in the top 5.

yeah, they were very popular back in the day, sold over 50 million cds worldwide, had one of the highest merchandise campaign ever(for a teen pop act)and had really no competition, unlike the nsync/bsb wars which started once the pop thing came around again.

yep, lots of money spent, i'm sure of that. i always got those teenybopper magazines and just had pix all over my walls, and damn the magazine ppl for putting two great pix on one page (like jordan, joe)----i'd have to really "think" about what side of the pic i'd use----oh, the good ol'days... This was the first band that I really became enaromed with when I was younger. Joey was my favorite and then John, when I saw that E behind the scenes thing w/ nkotb I thought to myself, yep my boys still look yummy!

I don't know how NKTOB were so low on that VH1 show, they should have been at least in the top 5. My walls were covered with their pictures, plus I had the huge tapestry with all of their buttons, it was crazy. Was anyone else in the fanclub or see them in concert. I saw them twice, the hangin tough tour and step by step tour
