First released in 1980, the "Friday The 13th" franchise celebrates it's 40th anniversary this year! The franchise is about the unstoppable killer Jason Voorhees at or around Camp Crystal Lake.

There were 8 films in the 80s between 1980 and 1989. Three more sequels followed after that and a reboot.

It still sucks that this is the 40th anniversary year and no movie.

40 years is wow

40 years this summer.

We should all celebrate.

Sounds fun

Been watching a bunch of YT videos of different guys visiting all the locations of the movies.

Very few are still there. It’s sad. My sister stayed at one of the camps.

Yeah, 2 is gone. Nothing left of 7. 1 and 6 are still there as is the Jarvis house from 4.
