I was never quite sure if that was just some odd little dance or if he was doing little drum moves with his hands. Either way, it seemed to be something wholly original to Jeff Spicoli. He was unique. He just wanted to have fun.

I would still love to read the book it is based off of but the prices! $90 for used & new! $204 for a used or new hardcover!

You can't even find it in stores. If there is any luck out there, maybe you could fine it at a used book store or something. Sometimes you come across real treasures there.
