I love Duran Duran I bought there greastest hits a while back!

I got the greatest hits album not too long ago either. Didn't buy it though, but I should since they rock and deserve making a lot of money. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

All of the songs on the album rocks my world.

In fact...one of my RRL buddies and I are going to New Orleans in Sept for the "Friends of Mine" convention :slinkie: and I can't wait! BTW, have you heard any of the new stuff from the upcoming album? OMG...it's FABULOUS! I *so* can't wait til it comes out in October!!

I just bought Greatest yesterday.

Back in my younger days myself & my older sisters met them a long time ago in a place far far away..........
They were all hot & very polite. Why can't stars from this era be more like them.

:slinkie: Hey Maxi!- :hug: I've missed talking to you on a more "regular" basis (which for me isn't so "regular" anymore). Work is work,(meaning it's the same old grind), and I'm still trying not to get nailed online by the bosses, which gets harder everyday. And yes, it's been busy the last few months. I'm envious of your time off....I could use some of that!

I'm so stoked about the original members of Duran being back together! It's a great time to be a Duran fan!! :sun:


ilmandyli- I have to admit....I just got my copy a few weeks ago :blush: I'm waiting to get my DVD copies of Sing Blue Silver and Arena, which SBS has incredible pictures included with it and the Making of Arena is a must see! ;)

I swear, the cover of Seven and the Ragged Tiger is still the awesomest ever.

Anyone been to their concerts? Or read reviews somewhere? I'm eagerly waiting to hear opinions.

I really wish I had gone to their concerts. Never did. Plus, I missed this year's reunion tour with Roger and Andy Taylor. I just wasn't on top of the schedule and before I knew it, it was over!

Did you guys hear they have a new video out?

They do? How cool. I must look out for it.

Edit: OMIGHAD!! I just watched the video! It's SO Duran Duran! Listen to the drumbeats at the beginning and the bridge. The video has remnants of their old videos! I feel a little Hungry Like the Wolf, Planet Earth, The Reflex, and Roger is even twirling his drumsticks like Girls on Film!

They're still beautiful :sigh:
