Dirty Dancing Appreciation: We all had the time of our lives
 

Welcome to the Dirty Dancing Appreciation thread. DD is probably my fave movie of all time. I love the story, the music, the dancing and the feeling I get when I watch it. During the late 80's when it came out I watched it over and over and still today I watch it over and over.

The music is absolutely wonderful, and the story is cute. I was totally hooked on the movie ever since I first saw it in theatres when it was released. :love:

The music is brilliant. When it first came out on video I watched it every day of the summer holidays, sometimes twice LOL

I will probably never get bored of DD....with everytime I watch it I still get that same happy feeling.

I've seen it so many times, that I know almost every line when I watch the movie nowadays. But if I haven't grown tired of it yet, then I probably won't ever.

I love it when Johnny and Baby meet for the first time and he dirty dances with her.
My fave song in DD has got to be Hungry Eyes. I love that whole sequence when he teaches her to dance.

yeah, and her classic line 'I carried a water melon' earlier in that scene.

I :love: this film i said it on another thread but it made me want to take dancing lessons and i did. its just amazing Patrick is wonderful in this movie - such a bad boy :)

My fav bit is p[robably when they dance on the log and he beakons her over and raises his eyebrows.

It made me wanna take up Dirty Dancing too. It looks like so much fun.
Patrick is great....very bad...very cool.

Yup, he's great in it. And the fact that he is a good dancer in real life too makes the dancing scenes even more believable.

He is wicked. I love the music so much. Brilliant.
