The 80's are still big. We've had a number of shows and movies in the last few years that took place in the 80's, and more are on the way. "Wonder Woman 2" is going to take place in the 80's! A new "Valley Girl" is on the way. Why do you think that is?

Oh, I love that! Yes. It was a special time. The modern blockbuster was really shaped in the era. Pop culture at a zenith. I think a lot of people want to tap into that and hope it will rub off.

I wasn't sure which thread to post this on, so I posted it on two different threads. :lol: This video made me cry. :bawl: It's a montage of 80s movies, music videos, and television set to 'Waiting For A Star To Fall' by the 80s band Boy Meets Girl. An upcoming episode of 'Family Guy' is titled "80s Guy" and it features Peter trying to recreate scenes from movies from his favorite decade.
