"Child's Play" is a 1988 classic about a serial killer named Charles Lee Ray (Brad Douriff) who moves his spirit into a Good Guy doll named Chucky. Unfortunately, this very doll is given to a young boy named Andy for his birthday by his mother Karen (Catherine Hicks, "7th Heaven"). Chucky goes about trying to rid his soul of it's plastic prison and sets his sights on Andy. Chris Sarandon ("The Princess Bride", "Fright Night") and Dinah Manoff ("Grease", "Empty Nest") co-star.

The movie was followed by Child's Play 2 (1990), Child's Play 3 (1991), Bride Of Chucky (1998), Seed Of Chucky (2004) and Curse Of Chucky (2013).

I was actually watching a bunch of "Seriously Strange" videos earlier and I've gotten to the prize-winning episode ... Haunted Dolls. And I just cannot watch it tonight, alone right now.

The first is definitely the best, but I liked the second one and 'Bride'. It went off the rails with 'Seed'.

I'll enjoy them and watch out for Seed.
