The Wonder Years Appreciation Thread
"The Wonder Years is a TV show that mixed drama/comedy/and situation comedy. Kevin Arnold, the main character, lives with his Brother Wayne, his Sister Karen, his Father Jack, and his Mother Norma. The Wonder Years involves Kevin growing up with his on and off girlfriend, Winnie Cooper and his best friend Paul Pfeiffer."
Do you love the Wonder Years? It is one of my all time favorite show. My only qualm is that Winnie and Kevin did not end up together in the end. But the best thing about the Wonder Years was its realistic representation of life. Most people don’t marry their childhood sweethearts. [ 02-19-2004: Message edited Clovergirl ] |

I used to love this show. I was really young when they were airing in my country, but I remember being really into it. I think I handed in homework under the name: Winnie Cooper...I was in second grade

I The Wonder Years and it was me, my mom, and my brothers show. My mom told all of us to finish all of our homework in time to watch the show, if we didn't, we could not watch. Funny, we all managed to finish our homework and stay up late to watch the show. My mom used to say that one of my brothers reminded her a lot of Fred Savage's character Kevin.
I still watch repeats whenever they are on and it is one of the few shows that I know what episode right away. __________________

Yeah, I'm missing a couple of episodes that I really, really want. It's too bad that it's not on TV anymore

It's been ages since I saw TWY. I used to watch it all the time, but I never taped any of the episodes. And I regrett today not having any episodes saved, since the show is great.

I only really have the Pilot saved in my collection. I did tape the finale on a mixed tape a while back, but I have no idea where it is. I plan to order the DVD though.
Here's a beautiful picture: |
