Nowadays I don't think some schools even have a detention. Parents would complain, and some schools wouldn't allow it. I know that my principal doesn't allow us to do much. We can't take things away from kids, so there's no way we'd be able to have a detention.

Kids need consequences, but so many parents don't apply them. They just place blame on everyone else. That's hwy some schools don't have detention. There's really nothing we can do when kids misbehave.
