I agree, the first movie is much better.

I like both movies, but I agree that the first one was better.

It was more believable...they acted like kids.

I haven't seen the movie in so long either and i don't think i've ever seen the 2nd one but the 1st one is great.

I have never read the book, is it worth the read?

It's kind of thin....its a quick read.

I thought it was more simple than the movie. (it was definitely more believable.)

I wouldn't scour the earth looking for a copy, but if you come across it in the bookstore, pick it up.

Does anyone own this movie? I've been thinking about buying it, but kept pushing it down the list in favour of other movies. I want it though!

This was just on tv yesterday...TBS I think. I hadn't seen it in so long but it's still great.

I missed the movie the last time it aired here on TV (sometime earlier this fall). :pout:

I haven't seen blue lagoon in so long, and I can't say that it ever really crosses my mind as a movie that I have to watch regularly, but for some reason, I was thinking about it last Friday and the next day it was on tv. It's always so funny how these things happen!

I own a copy of this movie...On dvd. :D It's really good to be able to watch it clearly. (I used to have it on video...and videos only last for so long before everything is all fuzzy...)

I also have Return to the Blue Lagoon on dvd..:lol:

It's on sale here, in a store I visit several times a week. It's so tempting! But I haven't fallen for temptation just yet.

Claudia - you're right about DVD quality, it's so much better than VHS.
