I don't think I have ever been so heartbroken over a celeb's passing. There have been some that were devastating and hit me, but this is on a whole other level. This is Robin Williams! This isn't supposed to happen! I'm shocked, stunned, sad and angry all at once. The world has become such a dark, harsher place of late, and it's now only gotten darker.
There has been a lot of talk on the board over how things are so different now. How TV shows and a lot of movies have taken such a dark path. Super dark, super gritty, etc. There isn't a lot of joy or 'entertainment' in a lot of entertainment. I've become more and more fed up with it, and losing Robin is just the final straw. Someone so iconic who has brought so much love, joy and happiness is gone, and the headlines are filled with Kardashians, Bachelorettes and the TV is filled with shows battling each other to see who can push the envelope the farthest, be the darkest, etc. We need the fun back. The joy. The magic. __________________
