Jack Watson (George Burns) is a millionaire businessman who is celebrating his 81st birthday. His grandson, David (Charlie Schlatter) is about to turn 18. After Jack laments his old age and a wish to return to his teen years, he and David switch bodies after being in an accident. Unfortunately for David, the "kid" is in his grandfather's old body and all that entails. Jack's trophy wife is also looking for Jack to be gone permanently.

The movie was among a string of popular body switching movies at the time like "Big", "Vice Versa" and "Like Father, Like Son". It was George Burns' next to last film appearance. Miriam Flynn (Cousin Catherine from "Vacation" movies, "For Keeps"), Oscar Winner Red Buttons, Jennifer Runyon and Pauly Shore co-star.

It is a pretty cute movie from what I remember. I take it you have never seen it, Melis?

Melis 03-27-2016 08:14 PM

Not that I recall.

There were a number of body switching movies at the time. This one kind of got lost in the shuffle a bit.

Melis 03-28-2016 05:55 PM

Yeah, i know nothing about it.

That looks funny.

The grandpa was in him then so he was excited to see a young, nude woman. Lol.

Melis 04-13-2016 05:27 PM

Oh that's funny

In the movie, George Burns' character is turning 81 years old. In reality, he was 92 at the time.

Melis 10-11-2016 08:59 PM

Oh wow

Barrybgb 01-18-2017 08:35 AM

This was George's last starring role in anything.

Melis 01-18-2017 04:56 PM

I didn't know.

Wow, I didn't recognize Pauly.
