I just got back from seeing it..

Those hookers don't kno what they're talking about! When Leon got shot, Stu was in front of him, and Leon got shot frm the back. Yet somehow the girls kept saying he had a gun. Even tho Stu's head was basically under the guy's arms.

Loved the movie..more later...

I saw it earlier today and I loved it. I thought it was one of the most realistic movies I've seen, despite the fact that a guy walks into a phone booth and is threatend to die. But I agree those hookers were stupid but were probably in shock or hysteria or what not. Loved the movie though, and I cried! geeez I can't stand when guys cry and Colin just did it to me.

I didn't like Colins wife in the movie. She was annoying. Other than that, I liked the movie.

Saw it last night! Colin was fantastic!
I think the thing with the hookers was to make the point that with all "witnesses" to crimes..they often "see" what they "want" to see! They've done studies on it..how different people can "see" things so differently!

I wasn't impressed with either female..the wife or Katie H's character.

Where do I know "Jona" the cop from..I know he was on some show.. Ally McBeal?

Mary that's what I was thinking the whole time! I think he's from Judging Amy but i'm not positive.

Colin was bloody brilliant in the film. Definately some of his best acting to date. I loved how he could play such a snobbish guy one minute but a frightened one the next.

Keifer Sutherland has a great voice..scary..but great. And a fun tidbit, the scene where his character is cleaning Stu's shoes..that wasn't Colin! You could somewhat tell, but Colin said he never met Keifer until the Tornonto Film Festival.

Oh I forgot about the "accent". I didn't like how Colin was fighting his accent and failing miserably.

I think Stu was suppose to have some sort of New York accent.

Anyways, what did the cops shoot Stu with at the end?

Stu was supposed to have a New York accent, what that was, I have no idea.

But other than the muddled accent, I thought Colin was phenomenal. Wasn't the hardest role to play, but he carried the film very well. Especially considering the fact that the last scene, his biggest scene, the confession, so to speak, was delivered to an actress who gave him absolutely nothing to work with. Gah, the woman who played his wife was terrible, stone-faced and emotionless...whoever did the casting on that role was smokin' it.

Otherwise, I thought it was pretty good...not great, just good.

I didn't notice that Colin was failing at covering his accent, but I guess he kinda was... ...good job though considering how thick his accent is! A friend of mine asked me if he was Irish at the beginning of the film, I don't know how he knew that though!

Colin deserves to have an Oscar nod! Imagine having the reponsiblity of carrying a movie where the set does not change! He gives the most amazing preformence!

I saw this movie with a bunch of friends last night and one said "those hookers were annoying" and another said "that was the point" and she was like "yeah but not to the point where I wanted to huck something at the screen!"

I didn't know that wasn't Colin in those shoes in the ambluence!

It was a movie and I'm so glad it finally came out!

I can kinda see what you mean Neon x Stars about the wife in that film!

Finally saw it! Went with three friends, their reactions were: bad, okay, and good. Bit of a range there...

I enjoyed it quite a bit, though it's not really my type of film. The ending could have been a stronger or more involved, it seemed to resolve a too quickly. Now that you guys mention it, his wife wasn't the greatest, and all Pam did was cry and look worried.

But Colin was great, man. His transition was awesome, every expression, all of it. And I'm not gushing because he's him... The accent, yeah, it slipped here and there, there was one part... Can't remember what he said but it was in anger and I could totally hear the Irish in it! I kept worrying about his poor ear... And I was cringing like mad when he made both confessions...

Hardly wait till S.W.A.T!!

Right on about the wife. I kept saying to myself "shoot her! shoot her!" Gah.

Even though the accent was choppy(?) I thought it was cute when his irish accent would come out.
