As the last thread didn't get updated as much, I think I'll just post the new post counts from now on, but I'll include a link:

So here's the scoop on the Doctor Who versus Star Trek challenge:

The competition will run through February.

At the end of February, the forum with the most posts wins. The winner will be determined through the official site-wide post counts posted by Jerry, the site Administrator. We'll also keep our weekly unofficial count going as usual, but also add a check of the Star Trek forum post counts to see how things are going.

The losing forum will open a thread about why the winning show is better, and the posters from the winning forum can use it to gloat over their victory and praise their board's show.

We've also added another wrinkle: prior to the start of the challenge, posters from the two forums who wish to participate will submit their names, and we'll keep a list. Once the competition has ended, those people on the list will have their title modified (the title is the bit under your name and above your stars and avatar) to a title chosen by the winner. So, for example, the Star Trek posters could pick "Star Trek Fan" and our posters could pick "Doctor Who Fan". If the Star Trek forum wins, all posters from both forums who signed up before the contest will have their titles changed to "Star Trek Fan". The title changes will last through March, and then they'll be changed back to what they were before.

So, I need 2 things from everybody: please post to let me know if you want to sign up for the challenge, and please post any suggestions you have for the titles we should use if the Doctor Who forum wins.

We've had more posts in the last week than we've had for whole months for the last few years. It's a huge improvement, especially considering the show is not on the air right now.
