Very true. He's a well-loved character. I was late to watching DW so I was actually looking forward to watching Capt. Jack. I instantly liked him. And John looks so handsome back then.

He is really cute!! I love his character as well and I was so disappointed when he just disappeared from the show with no real explanation for why we don't' see him anymore

yeah that's true that he did get his own show but people would only know that if they watched the new show.
