I will keep this short and sweet. It is my sad duty to write this but I am unfortunately stepping down as moderator of this fine forum. I’ve loved my time on here and I’d like to thank you all for being such wonderful contributors and co moderators.

Unfortunately, due to ill health and the harsh lack of leniency at the hands of the powers that be, I feel that it’s time to step aside rather than get unfairly forced out. The joy has been sucked out of it and it’s become more of a stressful chore than a pleasure, and as Tegan Jovanka’s aunt once said, if it stops being fun, give it up, and it’s stopped being fun now. I wish the new moderator all the best and more luck than I had.

I’ve stayed for longer than each Doctor in the show not named Tom Baker which is impressive and who knows, maybe one day I shall come back… yes I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears and no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine.

I’ll always remember when the moderator was me.
