it was a cute date between Gwen and Rhys. also he seems quite ok with Gwen working for "special ops".

haha the Torchwood car, the flashing blue lights have "special ops" written all over also a black SUV.

ha yep all they have to say it's "Torchwood" and they can go inside any crime scene.

what is interesting about this episode is Gwen telling the team they don't have a life. Jack particularly was intrigued. when was the last time he felt human? ahh and the Doctor's hand...Jack was so upset.

it's good to rewatch. i wasn't watching DW then also i didn't watch Torchwood in the right order by watching S2 before S1.

yes haha on my first watch, years ago.

the local channel was promoting Torchwood as a new show so i thought cool let's watch this. but it turns out, it was new to that channel. A different channel had the rights to S1.

Jack vouching for Gwen being a lady not a little girl was sweet

I wonder how he trained the team with all the aliens

The banter between Gwen and Owen you can see why they get together later on for a short time.

Rookie mistake throwing something into the egg alien thing.

You know torchwood is more for adults with a sex aliens

I adored Gwens cop friend he was so sweet.

It's interesting how they cover up the bodies that die by the aliens - Gwen you have a stash of bodies.

Sad none of them have partners- Gwen asked what do you do to unwind Owen i torture people in happy relationships - mmm .

it was especially confusing when there was an episode about how the team was recruited and i thought what about Gwen?

i'm sure i miss on a lot of DW clues. i thought the hand was just plain weird and so Torchwood anyway.

it's great that it was more adult. Gwen turned out to be amazing and her cop instinct was a great addition to the Torchwood team. Owen....he needs a life.

I just rewatched the episode.

I forgot just how much sex was in Torchwood!

I love seeing the bay area of Cardiff, I've been there so many times.

I remembered the Doctor's hand when I saw it.

They really weren't very good at keeping that alien trapped in the cell.

It's really fresh and new at this point, so I really enjoyed the episode.

i heard about the DW experience in Cardiff, i wonder if it's still there.

i think i only realised it was S2 only after i finished watching that season.

I went to the DW experience which was a short walk around the bay from Torchwood, but as far as I can see, it is closed now. There is something planned for the West End in London, though.

I find it weird going to that part of Cardiff as I remember when I was a child seeing that area as a vast wasteland. I find it freaky to see it everytime I go. It's a great area though, lots of restaurants to eat at.

Yeah they did have it but than they got ride of it and now they have a new one linked with Unit - i posted bout it over here

Yep they have a new experience i wish they did it internationally
it would be scary for any kid to see all the open water
