Ten/David Tennant #5- he can transform normal glasses into the Specs of Sex™
:star: Welcome to the fifth Ten/David Tennant Appreciation Thread :star: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...r01-Andie-.png banner by -Andie- Let the love continue!Fan List |
thanks for the new thread babe!
I took the liberty of adding the ™ sign to Specs of Sex™ because somehow that makes it even more hilarious to me :lmao: |
:lmao: Thanks for that, I forgot to add it.
I don't typically like glasses on guys (but I do on girls. Strange.) but he pulls them off incredibly well. |
That title is so true. :lmao:

Thanks for the new thread :flowers:
I love the title especially the specs of sex part   |
How about a little Specs of Sex™ picspam? It's only appropriate with this title ;)

:thud: Too...much... pretty...
|
:thud: ... Definately appropriate ... :thud:
|
proving once again that they're not called the Specs of Sex without reason...
|
I think he said that he wanted to use the specs so all the speccy kids are represented ... and he looks hot in them, but judging from his self deprecating nature in interviews probably wasn't the first thing on his mind.
|
I'm sure he didn't use the phrase "speccy kids", though . It's rare you see an insanely hot person wearing glasses, though- I don't get why, really, as I'd much rather wear glasses than stick stuff in my eye *shudders*
|
I don't think he did either, it's just what I call them, and I wear them so I'm allowed. ;)
Ugh, me too! I can't imagine contacts, and I wouldn't let lasers anywhere near my eyes. |
Oh, urgh! Luckily, my vision's okay, but... if it wasn't, I'd be becoming a "speccy kid" myself. Two of my friends need glasses, but one refuses to wear them because she thinks people stare at her when she wears them (the frig?) and the other thinks she looks "geeky". I have to bite my tongue not to yell about how stupid they're being (or yell "have you seen David Tennant in glasses?!! How can you still think that glasses are for geeks?) |
 I have both contacts (which I really don't mind - you get used to sticking stuff into your eye REALLY quickly :P) and glasses, but I prefer wearing glasses because I'm lazy  I usually wear contacts when I go out, and glasses in the house or when I just go to the supermarket or something like that. I'd wear my glasses all the time if I actually had a pair I really loved, my glasses are okay but I think I look better without them.
but yes, if there's anyone who really proves glasses can look utterly amazing and sexy, it's David! |
Have you seen that episode of Friends- I think it's TOW Joey's Big Break- where Rachel is all squicky about putting those drops in her eye? That's totally me. I do think that some people suit glasses and others don't- I don't, but if I had to wear them, I would rather them than contacts. *shudder*
Oh, he should do Specsavers ads! |
