Sorry I am haven't been around the last few days. My son had a 2 day swim meet and our team was hosting the event. With COVID volunteers were limited because only 100 people can be on deck total including swimmers, at one time. I had to volunteer for the entire session both days. I was just too wiped out to post after I got home.

 that is ok being a mother comes first :D
How did your son go with his swim??

What did you get up to?

BlondieLeigh 10-31-2020 02:11 PM

My brother had the day off, but had to take his car for it's MOT early in the morning, so I went up to his so he didn't have to get my nephew up, then went into town to help with his food shop. A lot of walking.

He did really well at his meet. Dropped a lot of time since he hadn't swam some of the events for over 6 months thanks to COVID. Thanks for asking

Yeah I bet it was hard going to back to the store. You're body isn't used to those shifts anymore. I hope you're able to get some rest and recuperate soon  Are you glad to be able to work more? I know it must be hard to have your income reduced like that during the lock down.

Lockdown 2 :sigh:

Good luck on the new lockdown! I doubt America will lockdown again. Our leaders don't really seem to care how many people die. They love money more than people.

BlondieLeigh 11-02-2020 01:55 PM

It's annoying, but necessary, so glad it's happening.
