Yeah, but the previous 6 eppies got so much extra polish and glitter.
I was really entertained by it. The 59 minutes went by so quickly. And the Thasmin-moments were quite bold! Wouldn't have thought they'd go this far. It will hurt so much if they split up or Yaz gets killed in the end. So I really don't know how I should feel about it. The way Dan nearly rolled his eyes standing behind them while they watched the fireworks was great though. I wonder what accent Sarah has, I'm still having trouble to place English accents (I understood what she was saying though, mostly). Irish? Or Welsh? |

I liked the one setting, it was different, and specials are meant to have something different about them. Also the whole confined space element adds another element of urgency.
Aisling Bea is Irish. Wouldn't mind her (and Nick) sticking around for a bit, especially if Yaz and/or Dan are leaving. Unlikely we'll see them again, though. |

Yeah, would be lovely to see them again! But I'd prefer to see how Yaz and Dan cope with a regenerated Doctor.

Love it when we get updates of characters, who only appear in a few episodes. I'd also like to know what happened to the woman with the Dalek "backpack" from the first New Year special. Did she have to go to trial for killing that police officer under Dalek control?

I wondered if Daleks can exterminate without yelling "EXTERMINATE!" first, but rewatching this they actually did one time.
