Really enjoyed it, really happy how this season is making me actually enjoy Clara rather than just wishing I did. She's become a proper person, not just a plot point. And I loved the story in this episode, both the creepy and the sweet

Just finished watching it.
I'm a little back and forth on the episode, but it was definitely different...something new and yet original. I LOVED the piece relating to the 50th anniversary. That was a treat. |

Wildly inconsistent episode. Some of it was superb, some of it was terrible. Basically, here is the yardstick: Everything with Capaldi was superb, everything with Danny Pink was terrible. That, for me, was the episode in a nutshell.

It's clear in this ep that Clara and Mr Pink will get together, I'm kinda hoping he joins them later in the season on an adventure.
As for the episode, I really liked how it all went back to the Doctor's childhood and Clara was the cause and liked how they edited the date with Clara thinking about it when she got home. As always it's nice to see Clara can control the Doctor but then push comes to shove he is still the one in control and ordered her back in the TARDIS. __________________
