I'm actually tempted to re-watch S4 once again. As you know that was the first season I watched and started me off with this show.

I became more obsessed during Matt's era because I shipped Amy & Rory so bad so by the time they were written off the show, I was a mess. But also S7 was all over the place so I couldn't quite get into that season as Amy/Rory also left abruptly after 5 episodes.

It was so stupid for them to leave mid season it threw off rhe season

Right? They could have finished off the entire season or even end their run in S6, I would have been fine either way.

I know would of been better storywise cause it was hard to like Clara straight away it felt so weird

I watched that season late so I was "binge-watching' and already know Clara was going to be the next companion so by the time Amy/Rpry was replaced by her, I just felt so-so about it. I wonder if I would've felt differently if I hadn't known Clara was the next companion?

Yeah like she was a guest start so by that time she became companion, it was probably like "Oh she's the one from an earlier ep..."
