As long as this character is around, I wouldn't mind new versions. The Master has been around on the series for so long so I don't mind the character coming and going.

I have a soft spot for the John Simm version which is my favorite Master but I liked all versions (especially Missy).

I didn't think much of his Doctor, but once he did the body swap with the Doctor, his Master became more twisted. If he has been like that all long, I would rate his Master more highly.

I meant Master, I didn't think must of his Master. Having him unhinged from the outset, would have set him apart from his predecessors.

To me, the modern Masters blend together. Dancing to Boney M, looks too silly, but this...

... is so sinister.
