I know he had conflicts with Christopher Eccleston, but were there problems with Jodie's tardis team as well? I'm confused about what they mean with "after what happened last year".

After Noel Clarke (Mickey Smith) was accused last year of having sexually harassed nearly 2 dozen people years ago, Barrowman came under scrutiny for several well-documented instances of repeatedly exposing himself on-set back in 2008, resulting in his being removed from a Doctor Who-related theatre show, Big Finish pulling a planned Torchwood audio, Titan Comics pulling a planned Captain Jack graphic novel, and ITV removing him from his position as a judge on their competition series Dancing on Ice.

This is it, he wasn't as bad a Noel but some people didn't like what he did

I don't get why people suddenly bring up things that happened years ago? Like.. that may have been something he shouldn't have done, but why do they talk about stuff that happened over 10 years ago?

John has had some controversial behaviors so I doubt they'll ask him back on the show. I do like the character a lot and I think Capt. Jack has a potential to come back for future eps but for now, t hat's not gonna happen. :(

I know John has repeatedly been vocal about going back to the show plus Capt. Jack is a character that can reappear and come back.

That's true. And while I don't like some of the things he does off screen, the character I really do like which sucks.

Yep and not really important to the main storyline.. jack is good and has great potential
