I mean I haven't done my Christmas shopping yet! I mean, we don't even have a title!

(And you say interesting, I say cringeworthy. I hate it when they decide to play an episode purely for laughs. Why can't we have, y'know, just a good story instead of cheesy Christmas puns at Christmas? Just a thought Moff...)

I know really early but they are releasing some christmas stuff now rwther post it here build up some posts .. its only a month a way

I dont know i like a humour episode .. but with this doctor i dont know what to exspect

True but I feel with this doctor he can be funny when his not trying to be

The best humour is always unintentional, imo, and that is what we have now

Not with an episode about Santa though- in fact pretty much all the humour in the Christmas specials have felt very forced and deliberate imo. With Christmas episodes, they normally just try and 'play it for laughs' which I find irksome as I would actually just like a really good, gritty, dark story instead. The best two Christmas stories were the two where they didn't play it for laughs quite as much, i.e The Snowman and The Christmas Invasion. The others- in particular Runaway Bride, Voyage of the Damned, The Doctor, The Window and the Wardrobe and Time of the Doctor- they decided to try (and imo fail) to be funny and fit in as many Christmas puns as possible.

If they're trying, it's not unintentional, and I won't find that funny (if anything, I'll find it awkward). The two Christmas specials you named are my favourite two, also. Based on the promo alone though, I'm not convinced that this one is going to be all humour
