A few classic docs would have been nice though, but I did still enjoy the episode.

Yer for the new series i enjoyed it i did really enjoy having them all on the same screen again and the storyline was great .. but i wouldn't of mind more of the classic making a appearance like Tom did it really made the anniversary even more special

his such a great actor and that scene was truly amazing .. it means that maybe one day they all can retire the doctors ,, maybe in my head all the classic doctor are retired and living their lives

I'd like to see the same thing for some of the other doctors too.

I would have like to see some of the other Doctors in the 50th but you can't please everyone.

Yer that's the hard thing like I saw the 40th anniversary and that was a great one it was 3 episodes combined had all the five doctors ( had one scene with tom) and it was great the difference between than and now is the age of the doctors now they have aged greatly

re -watched this special for the 100th time and i was wondering how did the painting get sent to them? the curator ( tom baker ) said he got it from extraordinary circumstances i wonder what they where ?

That is so cool, really would have been good if they could have been part of the 50th, even if they just had a cameo part like Tom Baker did.

Personally I wanted Eccleston to also be part of the 50th since he was the first of the new Doctors. The 3 modern Doctors on the screen together with John Hurt would have been epic!

If my understanding is correct, we would not have needed or even had John Hurt had Chris appeared in the special. He was created to fill the gap when Moffat blew his chance to convince Chris to appear.
