Yes it was written and acted very well, and there was a sense of quality about it all. It was nothing like David or Matt Smith's episodes with River imo....possibly because they were so much younger that it really made River seem like a cougar!!

Hahaha yeah, I know what you mean. With David it was just the one time and circumstances weren't too romantic, with Matt the difference was massive. With Peter it was instantaneous...

ETA: So the book isn't actually available in stores here... But it is online... I know because I just ordered it...

The only thing that really annoyed about me Matt being a lot younger than Alex was the people complained about it, but wouldn't complain if there was an actual romance with Twelve and Clara. Both have large ages gaps, but apparently it's only bad if the woman is older.

It was good to have Peter and Alex together, cos they're nearly the same age which is good to see sometimes.

I also agree about the its being instantaneous with Peter and Alex.

The Husbands of River Song is actually my favourite episode, although I liked her right from her first episode.

I bought the book this afternoon from B & N. It looks even nicer than the first glance I gave it yesterday.
I agree Peter and Alex work wonders together and I dont even mind the romance angle with them. But I definitely would not like it had Clara got with the Doctor.

How exciting! Thats awesome! I just started reading the first story, Picnic at Asgard. I think the Doctor in that story is Matt not Peter because I cant imagine Peter saying "Cool!" as the Doctor lol.
