The series semed more fun with those 3 than later when Matt was saddled with Clara and then the change of the Doctors.

Yer for some reason i just didn't like him and clara it wasnt the same

Well there was an issue of trust. Matt's Doctor didnt know who Clara really was and why he kept running into her.
