OT Thread #222: We Smell Snow
 

My hands get sooo dry, too! I sleep with cotton gloves and lotion and my hands are still raw and red. And all the snow has turned to slush in the streets. I'm not a fan of winter.

Val, your hike sounds like a fun activity!

No specific fun plans, but at least I'm not working 12 hours every day. :D
I know snow in cities is a mess, but pics are pretty. :P I hope we'll go to the Alps in 2 weekends and ski.

I've been sick all week and feel awful, so I'm glad to have a long weekend to relax (I have Monday off).

Sorry you are sick. Seems to be going around. I've thankfully (knock on wood) not gotten sick this winter. Hoping that holds.

I'm planning my vacations for this year. Arizona in March with some friends.

Also hopefully planning Berlin in April or May. And a visit to Prague for a few days. :)

Claire, hope you are feeling better and can enjoy your day off tomorrow.

My grandson was sick on friday I'll skip the gross details but it wasn't fun for me either. My daughter took him to the doctor's and it was just a stomach virus which is really going around everywhere here right now. Fortunately he was feeling better before bedtime and woke up yesterday his energetic self.

Nothing interesting happening this weekend for me.

Love hearing about everyone's plans for vacations. Still get jealous but really excited for all of you.

Christine, I lived in Phoenix for 4 years but don't remember any of it since I was 4 when we moved back to Michigan. Stopped there on our way back home from Calif when I was 15 but didn't get to see much of it then. I am sure it has changed a lot since then. Where in Arizona will you be going?

Flying to Phoenix, but staying in a house a few hours away in Show Low.

I have a lot of friends on the Phoenix area, and my sister used to live in Chandler.

My favorite thing to do:D and I aprove of Prague;)

We are going to Scotland for a week in April, looking forward to that a lot:)

Feel better soon, Claire! We started going swimming regularly after the New year and it´s been freezing outside so I was sure I would get a cold soon (leaving with wet hair and such) but so far so good.

We're trying to plan holidays as well. We're trying to plan for Prague at the beginning of March, Katka. :) If they give me the days off but I hope so. Would love to say hi to you! :D If Prague isn't available, I'd love Dublin or a UK main city.
We should go to Michigan at least once between the summer and Christmas, or both times. I was hoping to do something different this summer, so another option would be Jay goes first (being a teacher he's free in the summer), and I join him a bit later so I still have some days to spend somewhere else. We'll see. :)
Claire, sorry you've been sick! I hope watching Hamilton for the zillionth time helped you heal. :P :hug:
I twisted an ankle badly at work yesterday, just coming down some stairs. I'm bandaged and a bit sore now, but I work tonight, so I have to make it better somehow. :look:

To read about all your plans inspired Me to plan a trip. I have no idea where or when. But it's time for me to go away for 1 or 2 weeks. I would like to plan a trip to America. To meet LG and see all the cool things. But it would take to much Money..... sadly I can't put 100 € every Month in my save Cup. But I'm sure I'll have a great time. I definitely let you know when all is settled.

Another trip to Hamilton certainly didn't hurt. :) I'm feeling a bit better now after having time to relax during this long weekend. Thanks, ladies. :hug:
