No plans for new years, since it's mid-week.
I have New Years Day off, but I have to work the next day. I've got a cold, so I'm looking forward to the day off. __________________

Happy New Year!
I haven't been feeling great, but last night I got about 12 hours of sleep (and the night before I got over 10 hours), and I'm feeling better. Anyone have any fun weekend plans? I'm seeing a play and am looking forward to watching the Golden Globes with my friend. __________________

Nothing special this weekend. Went for a drive in the park yesterday and stopped to read for a few hours. It was sunny and got to 50 degrees. Usually there are people ice fishing by now but they were kayaking instead. I am hoping that this means we will have a mild winter. Tomorrow just grocery shopping and maybe doing something outside because it is supposed to be nice again.
Claire, hope you are feeling better, enjoy the play. Christine, I cleaned up around the house on Friday after taking down the Christmas decorations. I'll be watching the golden globes tonight,too. It's been a bit slow around here. Everyone getting back to real life after the holidays? I saw a musical today (Dear Evan Hansen), but other than that, just been busy working. __________________

I've seen a couple of numbers from Dear Evan Hansen on TV and it looks good.
We are freezing here, it's -38 wind chill right now. The schools are closed today and tomorrow, there is no mail delivery and a lot of businesses are closed. Unfortunately my son and my youngest daughter had to go to work. My son said he was heading home now but my daughter just left for work and is scheduled until midnight. Hopefully they will close early and then I won't have to worrying so long. I am really hating winter right now. |

Wow, Sarah, that's REALLY cold. I thought it was cold here, but it's not nearly as bad as what you're dealing with. I hope this polar vortex goes away quickly. I've been busy, seen a bunch of shows (and have been ushering a lot lately), and am looking forward to a vacation in less than three weeks! __________________

I'm so glad we're spared from the cold weather. It was about 45F here today, which is pretty standard.
