Hey my dear Friends,

I am so busy for the next few weeks that I hope I won't miss anything with or about Lauren... I'm sure I'm not alone with that.

And my dad is feeling good... He tries to enjoy the warm Weather. We went to the Zoo and he was so excited because he wasn't there for 20 years. It was a very nice Day.

Since Monday he has Chemo again. So that's good.

My birthday is coming closer and my friend wants to go somewhere with me. So that's it.. I hope you all have a good Week

Kathi, I'm glad your dad is feeling good! The zoo sounds like fun. When is your birthday? Do you know where you might want to go?

I've been seeing lots of theater lately, and this weekend I'm going to two concerts. They're both at an outdoor stadium (Forest Hills), and luckily the weather is supposed to be nice. I'm seeing Belle and Sebastian tomorrow and The Head and the Heart and Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats on Saturday. I'm excited, and I'm so glad it's finally outdoor concert season!

Claire - I see everything is same with you, still, lots of theater and concerts

It´s been so hot here, it is so strange. We completely skipped Spring and it´s been 26 - 30C since the middle of April till now. And no rain at all, especially in Prague. Getting tired of the hot weather and it´s not even Summer yet. But who knows, maybe it will actually be snowing in August.lol

Speaking of summer, any plans? I´m going to Croatia in two weeks.....my parents go with us so I hope I will survive.lol

Lucky! We've had the rainiest May in like 50 years and it's still cloudy and rainy, so unlike Italy at this time of year. I'm so over it!!
We're going to Greece for 2 weeks in July with Waffle. Pretty excited! Before that, next weekend we'll be at Cinque Terre- it'll be our second wedding anniversary on June 18 and we've taken the habit of having a small trip around it. Hopefully we'll continue the tradition for many years!

Claire, what theatre have you seen? Enjoy your concerts!!

Oh, my friend has been living in Firenze for the past 3 months to study Italian and she went to Cinque Terre and showed me pics, it's so beautiful. We said we will go there, maybe next year. Have fun!

Katka - I always look at the weather in Dresden and Prague and I'm like wow, it's so hot there. Munich didn't really have spring either but we didn't get over 30°C so far which I am very grateful. The past three days I rode my back home in thunderstorms. Fun. lol

I'm going for a hike in the Alps on Sunday, I hope without thunderstorms.

Thanks. Last night was Skintight (not great, but free so I can't complain), The Iceman Cometh and My Fair Lady not long ago, lots of off-Broadway ushering (The Seafarer, Summer & Smoke, Transfers), and lots of ushering coming up (Mary Page Marlowe, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, Carmen Jones, Straight White Men, Relevance) and Othello and Cypress Avenue coming up as well.

Enjoy Greece and Cinque Terre, those should be amazing!

Im returning to Prague on July 1 and leaving on July 4 again, your days fit right in.lol Prague is 4 hours from Berlin by train. Btw. Prague is prettier than Berlin.... (hides from Ele)

Claire - Nicaragua, how fancy have fun surfing.

That sounds like a great trip, Claire! How cool! And, as always, I'm jealous of all the theatre you get to see. I don't know when we'll be back, so I'm not sure what of this season we'll be able to catch.

The place where I'm staying in Nicaragua cancelled my reservation because they're shutting down for the summer due to everything that's going on over there, so I'm trying to figure something else out. I haven't been able to switch or cancel my flights because both the airline and the travel insurance company I used (I actually got insurance for once, and it's not helping me at all!) are saying there's nothing they can do (there wasn't a specific "terrorist incident" or something that would justify letting me change my plans), so now I have a flight to an unsafe country where I have no place to stay. I planned the trip before the situation erupted, and now I'm trying to work something out. I know it's a much worse situation for the people over there, and my travel woes are nothing compared to what the Nicaraguans are experiencing, but I'm stressing now about what to do.

Im not really up to date with what´s happening in Nicaragua but these changes always sucks. Once its hurricane, once its volcano or its political:/ When are you supposed to go? is there a chance that the situation will calm down till then? And usually when there are protests in a country the touristic regions are calmer. but I guess I cant compare Nicarague with lets say Greece...lol I does look much more violent there:/ Well, fingers crossed that it will work out in your favour.

Vale - I liked your pics from Cinque Terre, althought I feel like all my friends have been there in the last three years so I saw so many pics that I feel that I was actually there.lol I would like to go there myself one day but I hear it´s really crowdy. (well, where isn´t, really?)
