That sucks Canopus! It comes on here twice, 6:30 pm and like 2 am or something. I'll transcribe it if you can't see it or no one can put it up.

My computer doesn't have sound, but there are two videos listed with this review, for the WB 11 and KTLA feedrooms. I see Lauren in it, just can't hear it.

It's from the same press junkit as this (Caps of tonight's ET by One Cold Canadian)

Here tis, from ET.

Leneord Maltin reports that Lauren Graham's got a thing for Kris Kringle that is just wrong, wrong, wrong.
[clip: "You like kids...]
G: This is a person who for no particular reason Santa and loves Santa. This is a fetish or an appreciation this girl has.
M: I've never heard of a fetish euphemized or euphemistically described as an appreciation. That's very sweet.
G: It's an extreme appreciation, sure. (laughs)
M: I like that. I love that.
[behind the scenes type shot, Sue pours a shot]
They shot a few steamy scenes that even made her blush.
G: You always seem to shoot the most intimate, mmm, we could call it intimate, I guess, very early in your actual acquainence with another actor.
M: Tell me about the scene where the boy walks in on you.
G: Well, he's seen me in my undewear. (laughs) And that will give him just things to think about I feel for years. He seemed okay with me in my...bra. (laughs)

I sooo wish there were a cap...just because I've been looking at a lot of Lauren pictures where she does this tongue thing, and she just did it so blatantly when she was laughing about the "extreme apprecation" it's hilarious.

Alexis, it's on again here in L.A. at 11pm. I'm going to record it then and upload the cap to Canopus so he can work with it. It may be good enough for me to just upload and give a link out.. if it doesn't work, then I'll have Canopus work with it.

Thanks for the caps and transcript from ET. I missed it.

Does anyone transcribe Lauren's appearances for the talk shows? I'd like to see a transcript of the Kilborn interview.

Can anyone elaborate on this? I remember reading that Lauren attended this event, but did we know about the cabaret performances?

I did some searching on that a while back, and all I came up with was what you posted and this picture. I have no idea if she performed or what she performed.

If you're in LA, the Hollywood Christmas Parade airs tonight at 7 on KCAL9, and they mentioned in an LA Times article that some GG cast members will be on. Which ones? We don't know yet, but Lauren could be on the float .

That could be funny, seeing her do the 'beauty queen wave' .

The GG cast is going to be at the Hollywood Christmas parade today. It's broadcasting on L.A's KCAL 9. I'll be recording it tonight.

From the Sun-Herald Television Magazine

Quote:

Gilmore girl, interrupted
It's tough enough finding love at the best of times, but Lorelai Gilmore is facing a rough time is she plans on getting together with her would-be-beau.
Not even Lauren Graham, who plays the single mother in the drama Gilmore Girls which returns to channel nine this week after a five-month break, wants to see her settle down.
"I think they shouldn't really" Graham said when asked is she thought the scriptwriters should allow her on-screen persona to finally cut through the sexual tension and become part of a couple with Luke Danes.
"Or is they do it, it should be a terrible mistake and everbody would feel akward."
Certainly a harsh judgement, but said with a smile and the knowledge that Luke and Lorelai, like many TV couples before them, actually work better when they're not together.
"A lot of what's going on this year is kind of the heat of them returning after it waned when they dated other people," she said.
"Now there is just kind of akwardness that they can't really talk about and that is something I try to play carefully."
If the paif ever did get together, Graham said she's not sure how long thinkgs would last. "They're very different and can opposites make it work? I don't know... even in TV land I don't know."
Regardless of what happens on the romance front, the ongoing- and oddball- relationship is a typical of the series and a major part of what Graham sees as the reason for the show's success.
At the heart of the drama is the dysfunctional but very contemporary family dynamic of the Hilmores, where Lorelai has a daughter almost half her age and parents who can't help but add their two-cents worth at every oppotunity.
"Other shows, generally, we have sort o the mom, dad, kid, kid and dog. But I grew up mainly with my dad and then he got remarried and to me it is reflective of something that is almost the norm now."

I'm not too sure if this article is referring to the 3rd of 4th season, seeing we are still in the 3rd.

A. B. Normal 11-30-2003 05:24 PM

Thanks for that Lor! I remember reading parts of that a while back, I'm pretty sure it was done during the third season.

I just watched the WPIX video review of Bad Santa. Lauren's so funny.

"I play the friendly bartender, Sue. If you're lonely and down on your luck and you own a Santa suit, you're gonna get lucky."

Lauren doesn't seem very supportive of the L/L pairing, does she?

~Kitty 11-30-2003 07:25 PM

It's funny.. from various interviews she's either all for them or doesn't want them together.

I believe that's from season 3. For season 4 I think she is going towards them being together. I think it's a matter of where she sees the writers are taking them. Also, she likes the drama in GG.. so the chase gives Luke and Lorelai more drama to work with and I think that's how she likes it.. lots of drama and angst!
