Decent episode.
I do think Sarah was right to take Max home. He was completely disruptive to a place of business. Just because Sarah is family, doesn't mean Max can get away with acting like that. Adam and Kristina would not let him treat a stranger like that. And I think it was unfair of them not to hear her side of the story. He came into the shop, disrupted her project, practically tried to push her out of her chair, and was not listening at all. It was nice of Sarah to get the printer for longer, but she wasn't in the wrong. Drew and Amber were funny tonight. I'm glad they have each other to lean on. I do hope Joel and Julia can work things out, and it was nice that he came to the baptism. The hug between Sarah and Adam was awkwardly funny. __________________

Best episode in months for me. I really loved it. It made me cry three times, all Julia and Joel stuff. Loved Erika during her call to Joel, It was well played. The Zeek and Joel talk was great, too. I only hope that when we´ll get to know Joel´s reasons they are valid.
The family dinner scene was awesome with the little fights. And Amber and Drew were really funny. But the smoking and drinking is funny only one time, I hope they won´t do it regulary now since they are going to live together. The story with Natalie is boring. Guys are stupid, running after such a girls. yuck. Max and Kristina were insuferable but that´s nothing new. I´m glad Sarah was right this time. No lesson for Kristina, though, she got what she wanted anyway. __________________

The acting from Max was awesome. He does such a good job.
I could strangle Kristina and Adam. Surely by now they should realise that just hearing Max's side of a story is not reliable (and not because he's autistic, because he's a 14 year old). I wasn't all that happy with Amber, Drew and the weed storyline. Better be a once off. I wish Natalie would just go away. Hoping the Hank storyline is wrapped up and done next week. Joel is confusing me. He says it's over at the therapists but then he's still wearing his ring (they had an obvious shot of it last week). This week gave me hope for them though. I liked the end of the episode better than I've liked the show for a while now. __________________

Beautiful episode and one that really hit home for me. My sister and her husband are having martial problem, and as a family we're all there for my sister, but the hardest part, is not excluding my brother in law because he's still part of the family, (he's been in my life since I was 10) So Crosby not asking Joel to be Godfather was really hard to watch, and I can understand why he had to do that. Zeek's speech to him, was very emotional, also. Telling him, he is still his family. My Mum had a very similiar conversation. All I can say is Erika and Sam, are doing a beautiful job!
What I loved most about this episode is, it was a Braverman family centric. Loved the disfuncional family dinner scene, fights, laughter and stone grandkids! Even though am not sure what to make of, Amber and Drew's getting stoned together? Can't decide if I loved it, or hated it? The Jury is still out on this one. I liked how the whole Max and Sarah situation was resolved. I was half expecting, Sarah to have to apologie to Kristina and Max (yet again!) but getting him the printer for another week, was a much better solution. She seems to be listening to Hank, again! and I love the promo for next week! __________________

Loved the family dinner OMG, between Adam being 2nd choice to Sarah finding out about the house sale and her kids being stones, classic!

this episode was great!
I liked the way Sarah handled the Max situation it was right of her to take him home. I`m glad Sarah didn`t apologise but solved it another way. The scene with Zeek and Joel was so heartfelt and nice.. and it made me cry. The phone call between Julia and Joel was also great, great acting from both Erik and Sam. The Natalie storyline is so extremly boring.. can she go away please? It`s good to see that Amber and Drew are supporing eachother. Hank wasn`t so bad in this episode.. but I still don`t like him. The promo for next week looks good! __________________

Great episode. Actually the first one my boyfriend watched with me and it was funny to see him being more and more engaged in the show as it went on.
I usually like Kristina, but last night I could have slapped her. What a self-righteous b. What gives her the authority to judge everyone? Max was wrong. And Sarah was firm but not in a bad way. If they want him to become a functional adult, he needs to understand there are times and places for things, and that he doesn't always come first. It was nice of Sarah to rent the printer for him, but I don't think she was in the wrong. I'd have liked to see them all confront in a more direct way. I liked Hank explaining things to her, but I still hope he leaves for good soon. The Julie/Joel situation is heart-wrenching. I hope they find their way back together, and it was so good to see Zeek step up and try to open his eyes. The dinner scene with all the bickering was so funny and realistic. It was nice to see Amber and Drew lean on each other but I hope he doesn't stray from school and such. I don't understand why he's making such a big deal of Natalie, after getting back with his ex for 3 weeks. Promo for next week looks good!! Can't wait! __________________

I liked this episode although Kristina seriously annoyed me. I've never been her biggest fan but this episode I also could have slapped her lol. I get that she wants to stick up for her kids but why does that mean she has to be rude to everyone else?! If I was Sarah I would really dislike her, not just because of this week but she always seems to be in the wrong in Kristina's eyes and i wish she'd stick up for herself more.
Wish Hank would disappear, nothing more to say on him lol. Also, was it just me who found it hard to believe that Sarah didn't realise Amber and Drew were stoned? After everything with Seth and then Amber taking drugs in season 2? I did think them being stoned together was funny although I hope they don't make a habit of it. I loved the dinner scene, it's what makes this show great I think and i wish we had more family scenes like in the first couple of seasons. |
