A week or so ago, my pictures from the Stars Hollow pop-up here in LA came up. That was so much fun! I loved the lead up to the revival. I was just talking to my friend about re-watching.

Also my bad if this is just supposed to be GG news stuff.

I re-watched a couple of scenes from Fall the other day.

If I re-watch AYITL stuff, I still skip the Rory/Logan/LADB stuff. Ugh.

Congrats to the Mrs. Maisel team on their GG noms. I enjoyed season 2 a lot. (My thoughts are in spoiler tags just in case anyone hasn't watched and doesn't want to know anything.)

Spoiler:

I love the settings; I love recognizing locations that I know in NYC but seeing how they've turned back time about 60 years. I also love the Catskills stuff; there's some great comedy there. I think Susie masquerading as a plumber is my favorite bit. I still hate Joel. Ugh. I like how we saw more of Abe and Rose (though most of Rose's development came early in the season and I didn't think there was enough follow-through in exploring that character growth). I love Zac Levi as Benjamin. And I love Midge's arc (of course Rachel Brosnahan is fabulous). I'm excited for season 3 already.

Some good news for Amy:
Amy Sherman-Palladino to Receive Producers Guild Norman Lear Award

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino will receive the Producers Guild of America's 2019 Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television. The award, named for the legendary All in the Family and One Day at a Time producer, will honor Sherman-Palladino's 20-plus years as a producer, creator, writer and director. She'll accept the honor at the PGA's 30th annual awards ceremony Jan. 19. The announcement of the award coincides with the release of season two of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon. "Amy Sherman-Palladino is everything you want a TV producer to be. She's smart, she's tenacious, she knows the story she wants to tell and how to put together the right team to tell it," said PGA presidents Gail Berman and Lucy Fisher. "Her characters and stories may span different eras, but her sensibility is unique and unmistakable. Sad news, the husband of Kelly Bishop passed away at age 89. He was a TV sports show host (which I had no idea about). Sorry for her loss.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel won one Golden Globe tonight for Rachel Brosnohan, Best Actress in TV Comedy.

Amy was there, wearing red, with no hat! I almost didn't recognize her.







And Rami Malek won for Bohemian Rhapsody. Let's not forget where he got his start. His first TV Role
