Important Message, Board will be closing April 15th This is goodbye!
It is with a heavy heart that I post this announcement. I have been a fan of Hayden's for a long time and when I got chance to mod this board I was thrilled. It had been slow but I thought things would pick up. Unfortunately for quite a while now it has just been me and my co-mod Sheiva posting here and that isn't fun. It has been coming more of an obligation rather than a fun posting experience with many fans. We feel that as the board just isn't getting the traffic we need to stay open, it's painful to say and the decision wasn't made lightly, we feel it is best to close the board on our terms then be forced to close through lack of posts. Sheiva and myself want to thank everyone who has been a part of making Hayden's board a fun experience in the time he has had a board here at :ff: :group_hug: The board will be closed a week from today so 15th April will be the day. Aw you poor girls :hug: I obviously don't know either of you but as a fellow mod just wanted to give you girls a hug :hug: Sad it had to come to this, especially being Hayden's board has been around a while. Just the fact that you opened this thread a few days ago and no one has even posted in it shows you girls made the right decision, despite how hard it was. Forum's aren't what they used to be IMO, too many boards on the low count warning list. People just aren't into them as much as they used to be, so sad :( Lots of boards just have the mods posting at it keeping boards alive, but that gets old after a while, especially with actor's that aren't working as much as they used to be. Best of luck in the future girls, good job keeping the board alive as long as you did :) :back_hug:

Thank you :hug: It is a shame that no one has posted in this thread and I opened it a week ago. Like you said it goes to show we made the right decision :nod: Unfortunately the interest just isn't here anymore :(

I was so sad to find out this news. :( I have such fond memories of this board, both as a poster and a former moderator. I wish I had the time to still come and post but life just got to hectic to stop by. It also became harder to keep discussions going because Hayden sadly doesn't have films/projects coming out, which also saddens me greatly. I'll always be a big fan of his and I will always cherish the memories made at this board. I am sorry to see it close. :(

Stephanie :hug: I feel the same way. It is so sad that this is what we felt we had no choice but to close. The board has basically two posters and they are the mods and that is no fun at all. We kept it going as long as we could, hoping things would pick up. But like you said Hayden hasn't had any new projects for ages so it is difficult to keep discussions going.

ITA Stephanie. It was so fun to post here and both Emma and I are very sad to see it go, but ultimately these boards are for fun and it had become a burden. We had to draw the line somewhere.
Maybe at some point when Hayden decides to focus on his career again, we can have a board for him again. Such a shame to see a board dedicated to such an awesome guy go. It was nice meeting you all. :hug: |

Awww, Emma and Sheiva, I'm sorry and sad to see this announcement. :( Thank you to both of you, and to previous moderators, for keeping the Hayden board such a lovely place to post, I have wonderful memories of posting here. :) Unfortunately life became too busy for me to post here, although I'm glad I was part of the board community and discussions here for a while. Thanks again. :hug:

Just wanted to say my farewells too. Thanks to all of you who worked to make the forum so popular. I always enjoyed reading it. In searching for stuff about Hayden on google, this board came up often over the years so it was definitely on the map.
I know too the burden it can be to work to keep things going especially when your life gets hectic. Hopefully the Hayden fans here will meet up again somewhere online for a bit of fun. Peace and hugs. Barbara |
