Today was our grand finale cake decorating session! It's a very fun hobby, I really enjoy it. I'll probably take further classes when I have more spare time, perhaps later in the year.

The 2 channels I get are local Canadian channels which don't air the show. It's alright though, I have my ways.

I did pretty well, except for one exam that I studied but it was really difficult, I'm definitely not good on that one.

The winner was Scotty. I personally would have loved the female contestant to win because she had a really great and strong voice... but I guess people were more into Scotty's country music.
Steven Tyler performed 'Dream On' and then JLo and Marc Anthony sang and danced salsa. It was pretty fun to watch.

Hey guys, how are you?

Szilvia, sorry about the late reply but I'm glad to you hear you're doing well. I can certainly relate to being busy in RL. Fortunately my 3-week summer break from work just started on Friday.

Although this year, unlike last year, they were pretty much equally talented.

I really liked Steven Tyler and JLo at first but unfortunately as the season progressed they became more and more useless as judges.

Hi Steph No special plans, I'm just gonna chill and see if anything comes up.

Steven stopped criticizing altogether by the Vegas week. JLo and Randy only criticized the same one person, regardless of how all of them performed. It was super ridiculous, really.

I'm glad to hear you had fun sketching, sorry about the rain though. Here's it's been so hot all week, thank goodness it cooled down today and next week should be cool too.

I went to my cousin's graduation party today, it was nice.

The radio station I listen to in the morning would make fun of their comments.

We had a hot week too. It was humid and felt like 100 degrees F.
Then Friday cooled down to the 70's, and Saturday was cold and rainy.

I am. I LOVE Steven. I went to Aerosmith's concert last year and I'm going again this year. Can't wait.
And JLo is a sweetheart

But maybe they didn't need to crytize that much because 1) the contestans were really talented, and 2) it wasn't their decision at the end, I mean, at some point it was only the nation's choice.

Well, there was a lot to make one of about the judges' comments. Good to hear it cooled down over there too. I just hate excessive heat, it makes me cranky.

Haha, this really wasn't the reason. None of the contestants were perfect. They're all in the beginning of their careers and they could have used constructive criticism. But for the most part they didn't get any.
