The "back to cool" thing was kind of funny for an Athlete's World commercial. I hated jon dore last year but this year I find him much funnier!

I'm pretty sure tonight will be a bottom 2 instead of a bottom 3. Should be Jason and Shane with jason going but since it seems that jason has some secret voting plot that keeps from the bottom I'm sad to say that I think Shane is going.

I am unbelievably disappointed right now. How did Jason beat out Shane? Yes, Shane had a weaker night, but overall, he is so much more versatile than Jason! I loved his encore of Angel. Gosh, it should have been Jason!

I've been crying for a half hour. I mean big sobbing gulps of tears He was so gracious and sweet, and he KILLED those songs he sang tonight. But I can't take anything away from the others. As much as I love Shane,,,that's how much they love their faves . Still sad though

Looks like I was right although I really wanted Jason to go first.

So are they singing a whole song now? That's what I noticed. During the Top 10, they had 2 performances before every commercial and now, they have commercials after each performance. I kinda wish they'd just make the contestants sing two songs but I guess it's nice to hear a whole song instead of a chunk of it.

That Beach Boys medley was brutal...holy lipsynching batman! Jason seemed completely lost and they all looked like they were about to burst out laughing!

First one was OK....they all got to sing abit more....especially Theresa.

NOOOOOOOOOO! Not Shane!! I wanted him to stay at least one more week!! *sniffles* It was so sad to see him go. He was so sweet! Awesome performances from him tonight though! Well on the bright side we'll see him again in a couple weeks

Does anybody have some idol pics on a photobucket or saved up somewhere? or knows of a website? I still can't get to the ones on the offical site. My computer either blocks the window or gives me an error page *cries* I'm looking for shots of Shane and or Jacob. (sorry to be a pain )

No cd this year? WTF?! This year is way better then last year. Last year I liked 3 out of all of them and two of them already have their own cd. This year the only one i didn't really care for was Kaleb. This sucks! Bad enough we don't get tours but now we don't even get the cd?! *grumbles* and on that note does anybody know of a site to download audio of any of Shane's performances?

I just tried to get onto the awesom Jacob site that UBCD gave the link to and i can't. Is it down? or is it just my lovely computer again?

Aww Shari, I am so sorry ! Both my mom and I cried when Shane went.... I really, REALLY wanted Jason to go. I think Shane is so much classier than him.... it's all the East Coasters voting.

But the first medley was good... did anyone else notice, when they're doing the kick thing, Jacob messes up first, and then Kalan notices and that makes him mess up? I loved that part, replayed it a couple of times. The second medley.... at first I couldn't tell if they were lip-synching or not. I mean, it did sound WAY like the Beach Boys, but I thought I definitely heard Theresa, Jacob, and Kalan in there! So were they singing along to a pre-recorded track? Ok, I'm embarrassed, I'm so naive that I don't know which one it is.

What was with that Jon Dore song?? Weird. But funny.

~CountryBumpkin~, I know this one site that has videos of all the competitors..... the video isn't the best but the sound is great! Shane's Top 10 to Top 5 are on there (it's missing Top 9 though), along with the others. It's pretty good, if you just want the sound. Videos.

I missed the show last night and I asked my mom who got voted off and she said the guy with the spikey dark hair. I believe I almost fainted because I thought it was Jacob until she was like 'Oh .. his name was Shane I think..' Shane got voted off? He was getting so good! And it sounds like he took getting voted off so graciously too.

Jason should really go. I like him, he's really (almost freakishly) energetic and he's really good about getting the audience going. But he can't sing!
