So cool the show is back! I really thought it was over but it´s not :yay:

It's awesome that it's back! Have you had a chance to watch it?

It is back :lol: I started watching the first episode way late a couple of nights ago and ended up just watching the first two auditions before falling asleep :lol:

I will probably catch up before the weekend, and will post videos of any standouts :nod:

So happy Idol is back!!!! I thought Monday night was amazing! Some really good talent this season!

Well I have a favorite which means she probably won’t win. I do like many of the contestants I’be seen so far though. My favorite is Mara Justine. She is all over You Tube.

They are putting through a lot of okay ones, of course the back-story playing a part, or the auditioner being sweet and they couldn't say No to them. There are a couple of good ones, good song writers and good vocals so far. Hopefully we get more of those.

The first girl from the first episode was good, Catie Turner, a great song-writer and pretty quirky.


The one Margo mentioned, Mara Justine, she's interesting.


From the latest episode I saw, I liked Effie Passero.


Another good one.


I'm liking the Singer/Song-writer type ones.

That kinda sucks they're letting background stories to play a part again. :rolleyes: Hopefully they'll find enough actual talent though.

There is some really great talent this season! I've seen the spoilers but I won't post them here. They let go some excellent contestants but I think there will be a good Too-24 pool! Can't wait to see my fave on Sunday!

Seems the first episode actually had the least "great" talents of the ones that aired so far :lol: So it was probably intentional that they focused more on the backstories in the first one to maybe emotionally manipulate the viewers :lol:

There's been some great ones since though.

Top 24 will be chosen tonight during the Showcase Round. I haven't been able to catch up yet but it'll be interesting to see if any of the early favourites made it through.

They've been posting some of the performances on the AI Twitter account, and this caught my eye :lol:
