Glad you liked Season 14. I was beginning to think I was the only one.

No I liked it. I've liked every season since I started watching, obviously some way more than others but I tend to enjoy watching especially that I've found favourites in every season, so I had something to look forward to even when the rest of it was a bit lackluster.

Yeah, I agree. Season 9 was the hardest for me. I liked Crystal Bowersox, but as I've mentioned her music isn't what I'd listen to. My husband bought both of her CDs. He liked the first one, but said the second one didn't do anything for him.

Even though Season 5 was not my favorite, I still liked some of them -- mostly Katharine.

As I've mentioned before Season 4 was my very favorite. I loved Anthony, Jessica, Nadia, Constantine and Carrie.

I think that was the only season I had just one favourite. I usually have 3 or 4 throughout the season.

From seasons 4 and 5, eventhough I didn't watch them, I liked the post-Idol work for Carrie, Katharine and Chris Daughtry.

If I remember correctly, I liked her second album more than I liked her first so I wonder if I'll like this one more than the one before too.

Going to another topic is pretty normal, in this case we started talking about how we liked this season in comparison with the others

My Season 14 favorites were Clark and Jax (and Rayvon to a certain extent). And of course Joey Cook! Loved her! Tyanna was pretty good, but somewhat inconsistent.

Same. I liked Jax from her audition, then started liking Clark, Joey and Quentin when the finals rolled around.

Yes, I loved Clark and Joey, too. I liked Quentin, but wished he sang more in tune. He would've probably been a more interesting finalist than Rayvon and they could've worked with him on his pitch. Rayvon was quite good toward the end, though.

Quentin's pitch problems were definitely an issue but I really liked his unique style. Rayvon's performances were starting to bore me because they just seemed like the same thing over and over until the last few episodes when he seemed to really get into the competition and started doing more with each performance.
