Yeah, we were on thread #23: Steven Tyler better watch out for Crazy Stalker Kelly, or something to that effect, which I suppose is even more appropriate now that she's admited to a fan at a meet and greet that she'd make love to Steven Tyler's used guitar. Tee hee.

It was so great to see Godzilla Kelly on AI again tonight. Especially as someone strangled the life out of "Without You."

~*coconut ice*~, if you mean when they were co-hosting, it was a lot of Clelly joking around on the ET set, her issuing a Scrabble challenge to him, critiquing (sp?) William Hung's studio session, and short clips from their rehearsals. They played more of it on ET on MTV/VH1 that weekend.

Then they were on again last Friday, with a preview of today's TRL piece, which was hilarious. I want to drive their tour bus.

Speaking of TRL today, did anyone notice Kelly made a Clay-esque expression when they were talking about taking a family portrait with their mothers? It was weird. They're rubbing off on each other. Oh, and Kelly: Who hasn't seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off?

We've heard Tamyra is supposed to make an appearance at the Staples Center show in L.A., but rumor has it that Kimberley Locke will also make an appearance (singing with Clay, of course), and that the concert will be taped for DVD and/or a television special. There's speculation they may also tape at the Chicago show, too, because of the way they've blocked off certain seats. Whatever/wherever it is, I hope for a lot of behind-the-scenes footage, because Kelly and Clay crack me up. I want to see their Celebrity Scrabble Showdown, darn it.

Miami concert review...

I'll start from the beginning of the day till the very end. Ok so here goes...

I wake up at like 10 jumping up and down because I'm having my first experience at seeing Kelly live!! I walk into the kitchen and my mom is making my shirt for the concert (I was in the hospital didnt get a chance to make it) I came online just to surf and then my sister woke up asked if I wanted to go out to lunch and then she would take me to Walgreens to get some stuff for the concert (Make-up and stuff) We went out and I just couldn't stop talking about how I would be 10 rows from Kelly. Anyway, we finish lunch and I go to Walgreens to buy some eye liner a magazine (Kelly candie ad) and some candy. When I got home my parents werent home (yes!!) and I take my shower because its only 5 hours till show time! I get ready alone do my make-up really good, straighten my hair and put on my Independent Tour shirt. My parents come home and as soon as they did my dad and I left for the show. As soon as we got into the car I blasted Kellys album for 1 hour and 30 minutes, I was so excited. We arive at the arena and my dad asked if I wanted to buy anything, so of course I said yes and I bought A Tour program,8 11' sign picture, and a huge tour poster. We walk to where our seats are my dad bought a drink I got water and then we sat in our seats for like 30 minutes. I talked to some clay fans [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] for a little while and then the lights went down. The Beu Sisters came on sang about 4 songs and my dad fell in love with them (Ewwww) The lights came back on and everyone stood and was facing the back, I was a little confussed so asked the people in back of me why everyone was facing that way and they said Clay walks down to the stage. I turn my camera on and the lights went down. Clay walked down and I was gunna take a picture cause he was like 3 seats away from me but stupid me forgot to turn the camera on, though I thought I did. Anyway Clays set seemed like it took forever to finsh, and durning a slow quiet song my dad after a few drinks yelled out "I love you Clay" talk about being embarrassed. After Clay there was an intermission for about 20 minutes and they took apart Clays set and put up Kellys. I'm talking to this lady in front of me who went to the Tampa show, now the Miami show, and then WI show. Wow talk about a Clay fan. Lights go down and you hear an intro to MI which rocked, lights came on and Kelly was on stage with a guitar and sang 'Low' I was an annoying Kelly fan and stood the whole show slow songs and all. The most amazing songs she did was BD (on the piano) SLTT (AMAZING!!) and TTWLI. I mean the whole show rocked but those songs stood out to me. Miami showed more love for Clay then Kelly but booo on them because Kelly rocked the house. After Kellys set, Clay came back out and Kelly and Clay sang a duet of Open Arms which was beautiful. Kelly said a cute "Byeeeee" then left [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] Clay said bye also. After the concert my dad and I are walking back to our car, we get in and yet again blast Kelly because I made an honest fan out of my dad...

I know I post a lot and some of it was useless but Kelly did a great job and most of it is a blur. I have really good pictures, but I dont know how to post them, but if you guys travel over to express you can get audio and pictures [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Kelly Clarkson's Rockin', Soulful Side To Show On New LP [03.02.2004]

"[The new album] is like the first CD in the sense that it's versatile, but it's more into the rock. It's more into the soulful roots, and it's just a little bit deeper." � Kelly Clarkson

Next time around it's her fans who'll be Thankful, since Kelly Clarkson has been working hard to have something for them by the holidays.

"I've already written my second record, actually," the inaugural "American Idol" winner said recently. "And right after touring I'm taking a little time off, and then I'll jump right back in the studio and get that out hopefully around Christmastime."

Clarkson wrote most of the material herself with some assistance from former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody (see "Ben Moody Bringing Kelly Clarkson's Music To Life").

"It's like the first CD in the sense that it's versatile, but it's more into the rock," Clarkson said. "It's more into the soulful roots, and it's just a little bit deeper, so it's pretty cool."

Although Clarkson's debut, Thankful, struck a chord with a blend of dance pop and balladry, she's been singing other genres of music since before she was encouraged to audition for "American Idol."

"I grew up with Aerosmith, and I love listening to Jimi Hendrix," she said. "I grew up with a lot of rock influences in my life, but as well as a lot of Aretha [Franklin], a lot of soul, so I don't know. I don't wanna limit myself, so I'm gonna kind of do whatever I want and put it on the record."

In the meantime, Clarkson continues to promote her debut LP on a co-headlining arena tour with Clay Aiken, which hits Uniondale, New York, on Thursday (see "Clay Aiken, Kelly Clarkson Announce Dates For Joint Tour").

Her focus on touring and recording means a potential career in front of the camera will be put on hold. "I get offers all the time to do movies and TV stuff, but I'm really focused on my music," Clarkson said. "The reason why I did 'From Justin to Kelly' was more for the fans than for myself."

Okay, I've been MIA...got sucked into the KC Express.

Anyway, I was afraid to come back here because I made promises unfortunatley I couldn't keep. My sister forgot the digital camera, but she redeemed herself by standing up for me against the Clay Haters and security who yelled and threw stuff at us for standing during Kelly's set. However, that didn't deter me from totally enjoying every moment Kelly was on that stage singing her heart out. She's mezmerizing live, her voice is just enchanting, I was too awestruck to remember most of it.

I've been listening to the Tampa audio up at http://tour.ultimatekc.com from a CD I burned ever since I left Charlotte. "Beautiful Disaster" is in-freaking-credible live the way she changes it up on tour with just her and a piano. Really cool to see her branching out with guitars too, show's she's an artist not just a singer. It was all worth it to see this in person. By the way, much prettier in person if you can believe that! [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

(We were group 7) so we were dancing around and stuff getting even MORE hyper...and here's Molly..bless her soul (lmao) she was turning more red, and MORE red by the second and I could feel my eyes widening in concern for her. so I was like, "Hey...Molly?! You gonna be okay?"

"I'm gonna die...I'm gonna die....I don't know how I'm going to survive this! Seriously! I'm GONNA die!" That was her response...haha! So I just patted her arm and laughed. Group 8 which was right behind us in line, consisted of a group of 5 girls, all between the ages 9-11. So we started talking, and they were SO cute and they were describing to us how they got into the meet and greet as we went up in line. They noticed that Molly was practically WEEZING, as we waited so they started laughing and teasing us...and ESPECIALLY me (pout)because I was running around in small circles..due to the fact that I had to pee and I had held it since, "I survived You", "Without you" "Fields of Gold" and "Open Arms"! So of course I had the images of rushing waterfalls as the little girls described them to me..lol when ALL OF A SUDDEN! We heard the LOUDEST screams ever! Haha! I was looking around wildly, and the group of girls were jumping up and down and pointing. So I looked over..

"What?! What?!!!" I was shrieking ready for anything....

"They saw Kelly! She's in there!" So I looked and I caught a glimpse of her skirt just as she was walking into the curtain enclosed area! So now I could feel my stomach clench...and I was shaking so badly that it only gave the girls another reason to make fun of us...lol..

I looked over at Molly and she goes, "Oh god....I THINK I have my inhaler..." so I started laughing, naturally, and I asked her to keep it out just incase I needed it too. Everyone around me including some people in my group kept encouraging me to go sneak off and run to the bathroom, but I was really afraid I'd miss our chance and that they'd get mad if we broke out of our groups, so I held it. So finally, we were ONE group away from stepping into the enclosed area..and I could see through the cracks of the curtain better. My heart was pounding so wildly in my chest I thought that..well, it could be possible to have a heart attack at 14! It happens! I could hear her voice rising over the people inside the curtains and...oh god..it sounded JUST LIKE HER! I could hear her laughing and talking, and I saw a group of kelly fans more excited than US (which was nearly impossible!) screaming their brains out RIGHT in front of her... I was raising an eyebrow by now because I mean...come on, she's like 4 feet in front of you don't bust her ear drums out! lol so as we stepped up in line, and waited like a FOOT outside the curtain, of course Molly just lost it and started crying...

I looked over at her, REALLY surprised because I thought I was going to be the one crying!

"Molly..! Don't cry! Your going to see Kelly, she doesn't want you to cry!"

"...Oh...I'm gonna die...." (inbetween her sobbing) lmao.. so the security guard outside the curtain was just kinda staring at us, a smile involuntarily tugging at his lips, when the group inside left, and all of a sudden, the curtains opened to us.

By this time, I was so nervous as we stepped in that I desperately wanted a barf bag so I wouldn't throw up in Kelly's HANDS! Kelly was signing something when we came over to her, so when she looked up she got the biggest smile on her face! And oh my god forgive me for gushing but I HAVE to tell you about how she looked..she looked absolutely GORGEOUS, and I was nearly breathless standing in front of her...amazed, stunned, and awed that THE Kelly Clarkson was sitting 2 feet in front of me! I had DREAMED of this moment! She had her hair down (her hair was up at the concert) and she was wearing a dark blue off the shoulder long sleeved shirt, and a white frilly skirt that was a little above her knees. I could see her nose ring and everything, and she still had her stage make up on. She looked REALLY tan.. and she had really pretty glittery red eye shadow on too. Her eyes were so green, and so bright I was kinda in a trance...just staring at her really stupidly as I tried not to fall over. lol! So Molly's just letting it all rip and the tears are comin down right there in front of Kelly! So the security guard leans over me before Kelly has a chance to say anything and goes..

"Are..you okay?" Molly just laughed and wiped at her cheeks and nodded. Kelly laughed too (so cute!) and goes

"Awww! She's a cryer!" and the lady behind her laughed, her pass around her neck dangling next to Kelly's head. I laughed too and I said

"Yeah!She's got her inhaler and everything so don't worry!" So Kelly looks up and BUSTS out laughing and goes..

"An inhaler?! She brought her inhaler?!!" so now EVERYBODY was laughing and I could see Molly was feeling loads better.

So anyways, Kelly just smiled and she seemed so understanding.

K: "You want me to sign something for you?"

Molly: "Yeah! Um...do you think..you could sign...this...?" She took out her poster and Kelly looked at it for a minute.

K:"Yeah! Yeah of course! OHHHHH.....yeah this is the poster....I haven't seen these yet!"

I was kinda laughing inside my head because I was thinking to myself.."Didn't you pick the merchandise out though? lol" so she asked her her name..

K:"It's like...M-O-L-L-Y right?

Molly:" Yep!"

K:"Ok! Here ya go.."

She handed it back to her and looked at the bottom of it and she said "Oh yeah! And just to let you know..this IS my signature..well..okay so it's not my signature but I mean it IS...it's..just copied!" I started laughing and Kelly started laughing too and helped her roll it up...and...then...DUN DUN DUN! It was my turn to step up. I stared at her for a minute as she was looking down at something, I felt an overwhelming urge to poke her JUST to make sure that it wasn't a guy in a Kelly suit. I stared at her ring on her finger, it was silver and pretty and I wanted to ask her about it but I didn't, feeling dumb and just like the obsessive fan I didn't want to come off as. Even though I AM ! lol.

I can't describe to you how beautiful she looks when she smiles....it just gave me the best feeling in the world when she looked up. And I swear to god on my life..she's the smallest person I have EVER seen! I mean I had boots on..but she's really tiny! So anyways, back to the conversation... Molly had been talking to her while I had zoned out...staring at her like the psycho I am and Molly handed her our ducky that she got her. It was soft and it quacked and Kelly giggled and held it up to her ear.

K:"OOh! It makes noise!" She said and laughed while the lady behind her supervising smiled and picked it up and said it was cute. I fumbled with Mr. Ed (Stuffed horse in my bag that we had gotten her) and slowly put it on the table as she played with the duck.

Me: "And...this is Mr.Ed!"

Molly: "Yeah..because you said you wanted him for christmas...soo..!" Kelly looked up and she goes with the CUTEST expression..( You don't know how badly I wanted to whip that camera out and take a picture..but four big 300 pound security guards kept me calm..lmao)

K: "AWWWWWWWWW!!! Thankyou! It's so cute! Merry Christmas to you guys then!"

And right here I just busted out laughing and couldn't stop because she took Mr.Ed and hugged him and set him back at the table, laughing with us.
I was pretty much choking on my words inbetween laughing..

Me: "Your...your welcome! Uh...Merry..Christmas to you too?"

Molly: "Merry Christmas to you too!!!! Belated anyways.." lmao.. so then Molly moved up to Clay, and me and Kelly both started laughing.

Clay:"Hi!"

Molly:"OH MY GOD!"

Lol and I swear she started like hyperventilating again..so I turned back to Kelly.

K: "Hi! So how are you?"

Me: "Great! How are you?"

K: "Good!"

She asked me if I wanted something signed..but I mean I know it sounds weird, but I already had something signed from her..and I really just wanted to remember this moment not by an autograph but because it'd be in my mind forever.

Me: "Well actually...could you sign this for my sister? She loves you.."

K: "Sure! What's her name?"

Me: "Gabrielle."

K:"Ok..so you like...spell that G-A-B-R-I-E-L-E?"

I was smiling and trying not to laugh again because she was half bent over the picture with one eye closed in concentration.

Me: "G-A-B-R-I-E-L-L-E."

K: "Oh! Okay! Yeah I like that name! Tell her I said Hi!"

And she signed it and handed it back to me with a smile. So I was trying to think of something COOL to say to her...but then again, what do you say to Kelly Clarkson? Yo, what's goin on shorty? lmao. And of course, me and my stupid self I just kept staring at her with I'm sure this "She's on drug's.." look.

Me: "Oh my friggin god...this is soooo unrealistic..."

K:"What? Oh! No I'm right here!"

She waved her hand at me and we both laughed, I have NEVER felt so comfortable with someone!But then, I know one question that ya'll wanted answered popped into my head.

Me:"OH, so yeah are you getting some sleep?"

K: "Sleep? Yeah! Ooh yeah definitely....I mean right after the concert, I go and get on my bus, and you know we bunk! So yeah I'm all rested up and stuff."

M: "Really? Okay that's good..just making sure!"

By this time, the guards were pushing me a little to move up to Clay's side of the table so I got my stuff together.

M: "Ok! So see you over at the pictures?"

K: "Yeah! I'll be right there!" She said with a smile and then I walked over to Clay. Clay got the biggest grin on his face..and I know ya'll are gonna think I'm nuts or something..but maybe it's the t.v. or whatever..bit he looks SOOOOO much hotter in person!

C:"Hi! How are you?"

M: "Oh my god it's Clay! Yeah! Oh yeah..good! How are you?"

C:"Doin great! You want me to sign something for you?"

Me: "Yes! Please."

C: "Okay...what's your name?"

M: "Mari! M-A-R-I"

C: "Allrighty...and....here you go!"

He handed it back to me and I smiled back at him.

Me: Okay! Thankyou. And just to let you know...I had a LOT of fun tonight."

C: "Good! I did too." And so with that, we walked out and got back into our groups. By THIS time I was so ready to pee my pants I wanted to cry because I didn't want to miss our pictures with Kelly!

So after we left, of course I was running around in circles again up against the wall.

Molly:"OH my god! She's sooooooo cute!"

Me: "Yeah I know! I love her...aww...oh my god..I love her!!!!"

Molly had calmed down by now and was leaning up against the wall next to the close concession stand with our group.

Molly: "She LOVED the duck! Did you see her? She was like 'OO it makes noise!'"

Me:" Yeah! OMFG."

Soon the little girls came over to us, all flushed with excitement and waving their autographed pictures at us.

Little girl named Bella: "She signed my picture!!!!!!!!"

I laughed and smiled at her.

Me: "Good! Isn't she sweet?"

Bella: "Yeah! She said I had pretty eyes!"

I smiled again because she really DID have pretty eyes...they were kinda light green.

Bella: "OH and guess what? When she signed my picture she didn't even have to ask about spellng it! She just spelled it right! See?!!"

She was waving the picture in my face and jumping up and down with her friends and me and Molly thought she was the next smallest person to Kelly!

Bella: "YEAH, and she didn't even have to ask! She just knew! CLAY had to ask me how to spell it. He was like 'so you spell it like, B-e-l-l-a?"

I grinned and looked back at Kelly through the cracks of the curtain. I could hear her laughter and saw her bouncing around in her seat as she talked to more opeople.

Me:"Yeah that's good! SEE, she's SMART! Keep thinking that way kiddo...all women are smart. Including Kelly..she's really smart..go girls!"

Bella grinned at me and we got high fives and Molly was just cracking up. Soon EVERYONE started screaming again as Kelly and Clay came out to take pictures with the group. She was around the corner of the other wall with Group 9 as we poked our heads out.

Molly: "LOOK! OMG she's so cute! and she's so small!"

Kelly was smiling and talking to kids while camera flashes went off. I jumped up and down excitedly.

Me: " I KNOW! and I thought I was small!"

There was a security guard, listening to our conversation but..little did we know that..

Molly:"AWW...She's so teeny! I just wanna pick her up, put her in my bag and run off with her!"

I started laughing and then stopped when I noticed the security guard looking at us weirdly.

Me:"Yeah...keep that down Molly."

I said laughing under my breath.

Molly:"What? I do I just want to-"

Me: "Molly!"

Then I turned, seeing all the people from her crew or whatever you call them walk around, I was surprised to see a dark haired man holding Mr.Ed in his arms. I smiled and pointed and showed Molly but she wasn't paying attention.

Suddenly, Clay stopped RIGHT in front of me. He had the biggest smile on his face and the widest blue eyes ever.

C:"HI!"

Me: "OH MY GOD!!!!!!!"

I couldn't stop shrieking for some odd reason..but I mean come on, CLAY was in a 1 foot proximity!

C:"Haha!" He walked over to the side of our group as the security guards picked up our cameras in front of us to take our pictures. Soon, Kelly turned the corner and she was standing, RIGHT THERE.

Molly: "Oh my god! HI Kelly!"

Kelly grinned and I swear she's the cutest thing on the planet if I haven't said it enough! I lovvvvvvvved her outfit!

Kelly: "Hi! Woohoo!"

Molly:"Uh...could..do you think I could have a hug?"

She asked her that cautiously, because out of the corner of my eye I could still see the security guard that had stepped closer to us since Kelly was within reach of us and our nutty plan to run off with her. (lol j/k!)

Kelly: "OF COURSE!" She gave her a hug and she looked right at me and scrunched up her nose.

Kelly:"She's SO cute!"

I bit my lip just as nervously.

Me: "Uh..could I have one too?" I asked, hopefully.

Kelly:"Yeah! Of course you too!" She gave me the BIGGEST hug..and oh my god...she's so small! lol I could wrap my arms around her like 5 times! And I KNOW I'm gonna get continually harrassed for this by you guys..but she really DOES smell good..lol seriously she smells like vanilla and I could smell her like 15 feet away anyways.

Then she turns to Molly..

Kelly: "She's so cute!"

I started laughing. Then they started pushing us together to clump into groups..and I think I nearly had a heart attack. Kelly was running around behind me and Molly jumping over our heads and trying to see.

Kelly:" OK I can't see! Haha! Okay lets like...yeah..! There ya go.." She had bot her arms around me..and oh my god I could feel her RIGHT behind me! She smelled so good and this sounds really corny..but I could feel her heart beating right behind my shoulder. So, of course me being the dork I am...

Me: "AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!"

I started screaming hysterically and I jumped up and started running in a circle again before they took the picture and Kelly would NOT stop laughing! but she was TOUCHING ME!

Me: " OH MY GOD! She's TOUCHING ME! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I was screaming so loudly people were laughing and looking at me and some lady was red in the face while I freaked and totally jumped up and down while Kelly did her signature..clapping her hands and laughing, her hand on my shoulder.

Kelly: "It's OK!! it's okay!"

Me:"NO IT'S NOT!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Kelly just kept cracking up and the security guard rolled his eyes but everyone else was laughing so he laughed too.

Security guard: "OK! Calm down so we can-"

Me: "She did it again! She touched me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD!"

I think Kelly was going to fall over because NO ONE could stop laughing!

Kelly:" Oh my god! Your so cute! It's okay! Come on girlie we're gonna take the picture!"

The camera snapped just as I looked at her and started shrieking again, and I was pracitcally blinded and Kelly's big green eyes were like, "WHOA." blinking lmao.

Security guard :"OK! Here's number two!"

so I gave them the BIGGEST smile..feeling so frigging dizzy I was hoping I wouldn't knock Kelly over because I felt ready to PASS out. The security guards handed our camera's back to us and the group broke up a little.

Kelly:"So Wow! you guys are great! And your SO cute..."

Kelly said to me and Kelly with the biggest smile in the world. We smiled back at her and she started talking to us when the group next to us kind of glared with envy as we talked to her.

Security guard: "KELLY!"

Kelly laughed a little raising her eyebrows.

Kelly: "OK! I gotta go! It was nice meeting ya'll! Thankyou!"

She waved at us and smiled and started talking to the other group as they dragged her over there and put us in the elevator.

Me: "OH MY GOD! We just met Kelly clarkson."

I said with a grin to molly as the security guard punched in the elevator buttons. Molly took a deep breath.

Molly: "Yeah...we did!"

When we got off the elvator, we ran through the front doors. Two girls were standing outside, probably waiting for Kelly and Clay to come out.

Me: "OH MY GOD!!!! WE MET KELLY!!!!!"

I screamed loudly to the open air as we walked. Me and Molly both started screaming our brains out again as people behind us laughed. After we got in the car, I looked back at the St.Pete Times forum, and I saw the tour bus pulling around back. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face..and I don't think I ever will.
