Hannibal - Possible Board Closure Discussion: Please Read and Respond!

Hi everybody

!

Ilda (I Belong To You) here to say that i have been thinking and it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 15 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

It was a pleasure to mod this Board and i made wonderful friendships here. But being the only mod here plus the only one posting, hasn´t been easy. I would like to keep this Board open until we get any news of a possible Season 4. But for that i would love to have fans here posting

. I would love to hear what people think about this.

Oh, minha querida Ilda.

I know how hard this must be for you and you have no idea how much I appreciate all the the work you've done for this board. We really wouldn't have it around for this long if it wasn't for your effort and dedication, so I know this is not a decision you took easily. As much as I love this board, I'd have to agree it might be time to let it ago. With my two boards, I barely have time to check this one so I can't promise I'd be around to help out any more to keep the board safe, and I don't think it's fair to ask you to keep posting every day by yourself only to keep the counts.

So yes, I think it's time for us to say goodbye

Thank you so much for everything you've done here, you're a fantastic mod and the Hannibal board was lucky to have you.

Thank you for the kind words sweetie. It´s sad to see the Board go but at the same time, we go in a big way since it´s on our own terms and with a good post count. But still lately it has become almost an obligation to post and I always said that when that happens, it would be time to leave.

I appreciate all the help that you and the wonderful users here gave me. It was a wonderful ride but hey! I´m staying on

so we can still talk. When the fans started asking for a Board I wasn´t a fan here yet but I thank each one of them for the Board because it gave me the opportunity of posting here and meeting wonderful people

Modding this board was a great experience and I'm glad I got to share it with you, Ilda.

Thank you for keeping it alive for these 3 wonderful years.

I just read Jerry's post on the Mod Opening thread so I guess it's official now.

Thank you everyone who's been a part of this board.

It was a fun - and deliciously bloody - ride.
