I ask myself the same thing. I get the not knowing if your show will be a hit or how many seasons it'll get, so that's why you make a Plan A, B, C, D etc and lock in actors at the beginning if you know their roles will expand.

I loved how her and Isabel were friends and then the writers axed that.
I think Tess was warming up to the group but Maria never bonded with her and Liz I thought maybe there could be a friendship there. I thought the relationship was complex but I felt they could have been friends (Like Joey and Jen from Dawsons Creek) but no the writers axed that as well. I love how Kyle and Jim were nice to her and even Amy Deluca was nice to her. __________________
