Good to see you Cuddles as well.
Hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season. I went out to dinner with friends then on to a Christmas party last night. it was awesome to get dressed up and to dance. The most magical time of the year! stay safe everyone.  __________________

We don't have much Christmas spirit here, unfortunately. I suppose it's just the way nursing homes are. Twee's Christmas goodies put me in the mood though.

Well, we had our Xmas party today. We had good food, a considerable surprise from our Kitchen given what we get day-to-day. And of course there were Xmas songs, like Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer, etc.
(seems like something's missing here...) Anyway, the gentleman with the guitar was asking for requests, so I piped up, "Oh, Holy Night; It Came Upon a Midnight Clear; Silent Night..." (Ah! A theme emerges!) So we did sing some Christmas songs too, ate some good food (Shrimp! Egg rolls! Sweet & sour meatballs!) and drank some punch. A good time, I think.   Any other Christmas parties yet? __________________

And Thank You Cuddles & ThereYoullBe for the cards. They arrived on the same day. We finished up the semester with Caroling to our students by the music staff.  Then I played violin down the halls for some H.S. staff.It was a busy week, but we made it through, and can rest up for January. |
