& I love that deep down, what Michael wanted was a home & a family - I think Isabel was the first person to really see that

Yes I loved how his character evolved and that when he came back to Roswell he went back to the Evanses, to Isabel. And even in season 2 he was protective of her and hard working and independent. He felt like the character that dealt the most with the work of real life and came out all the better for it.

The only other character I felt evolved so well was Tess in season 2. I felt she grew to be a part of the group and the Valenti household and was making a life for herself, at least until they ruined the season. But I still like to pretend that didn't happen.
