Mmmmmmmmmmmm ok did I like Departure [img]smilies/look.gif[/img] well it was Roswell sooooo yeah I liked it, I agree that it was a fitting end and that it was good to have Tess revealed, however, I disliked all the Max sleeping with Tess stuff and the baby issues [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] I felt it hurt the M&L Ideal greatly [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]

I thought Tess could have been used well in serveral different ways and I thought that EDR played her very way [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] (Not that I know anything about acting) I still think that in this they could have given her a better role, even if they wanted to keep her Evil, they could have made her sooo much better [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Me too. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] Although I still love Max and Liz to death, I hated the baby storyline so much because it changed them for good. I was glad to see that they managed to repair some of the issues between them eventually though. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Hmmm, i didn't think they repaired it enough.
As much as the baby story line wasn't exactly great, the writers could have made it alot more interesting to see more interaction between Max and Liz about this baby, that obviously cut Liz up.

i just thought if they took that path they could have made is more of an issue in the series so that they could revolve it better, AND i totally think it would have raked in more viewers, who would want to see more of the relationship and see where it turned.

Although i am grateful that they at least put the made it an issue and had it revolved.

Yeah I was glad they ended up together but I felt they’d lost what they originally started out with L which was really sad L

I didn’t like the baby storyline either L I felt it took something away from the Liz character L

For me they should have scrapped this whole story line L I couldn’t understand that writers, they kept saying that they wanted it more Alien stuff in it and then didn’t do any L blah, rubbish (IMO) they could have really got away with some great effects and odd stuff by saying it was alien while keeping the M&L relationship going as it was in season one J

It seems that we have a little discussion going on about Season 2/Tess/baby stuff.

Of course, I didn't want to see Max sleep with Tess, Tess get pregnant, etc. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] I, also, saw how much it destroyed Liz but I don't think she is totally innocent, either. After all, she made Max think she slept with Kyle and never really explained to him about Future Max. Plus, Max totally thought he had lost everyone then.

I also wished that Max and Liz talked more about how all of this affected them in early S3, which didn't happen. [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]

Nonetheless, no matter what obstacle was thrown in their way, they still found their way back to each other! [img]smilies/in_love.gif[/img]

I do agree with this. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] Max was really hurt when he thought Liz slept with Kyle (that was evident even in Departure when he and Liz were fighting and he said that she didn't save herself for him because she slept with Kyle) [img]smilies/cry.gif[/img] Ugh the whole Tess thing was just really ugly. [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]
