The PILOT was a blast for us - dreamers

I LOVE the pilot it is hands down my favorite episode!

It was so good and most of the time TV pilots are not because a show is new and are still trying to see if they will get picked up and the actors are new to working with each other as well.
However the Roswell Pilot you never would know. It was so well done. The acting, the storyline, the sets, the music, everything about it was amazing!

I loved it. Even if they didn't have a huge budget you never would of known. It was amazing and the storyline was so simple and so well done. I still to this day get chills over certain scenes.

The chemistry the Roswell cast had was magical! Sometimes with pilots when a show aires a new member might be cast. It happened with Willow on Buffy as well as with Gilmore Girls when it came to Dean and Sookie.

That never happened with the Roswell Pilot. It was the same cast even when it was picked up by the WB! Thank goodness I can't think of anyone else playing those characters.

Jason and Shiri just killed and the whole cast. Easily one of the best episodes of the series.

I agree. If you look at the Pilot today, you can see that it's was pretty simple the way they shoot it. A big budget was not necessary, the story itself compelled all kind of emotions and the actors nailed their characters. Max and Liz of course on top but Michael, Maria, the Sheriff , Kyle, all of them totally rock !!
