Because Coop himself is confused. He's still stuck and deluded trying to fix the past. That's why the last line was so poignant, Coop lost so many years of his life trying to rewrite the past that can't be changed that he forgot his present, years went by with him basically sleeping walking through life so to speak because he was in dream land attempting to justify and correct how he thinks should be.

Thanks for the interviews. Neither of them seem to want to say much.

DVD coming with behind the scenes footage apparently. I wonder if there is going to be any deleted scenes like the Missing Pieces with FWWM.

Yet another Kyle I don't think I've seen posted. He goes more in depth about the difficulties of playing Mr. C

I just watched a video on youtube where this guy comes up with a really cool theory based on something I would've never noticed. It's all about Cooper's pin on his FBI jacket. When he has the Pin, it's happening where as when he doesn't have the pin it's a dream. The first two episodes and part of 3 up through when he goes through the outlet he has the pin. He comes back through the outlet in Las Vegas where Jade finds him, he no longer has the Pin.

The Pin does not show up again until Cooper,Diane and Gordon are in the basement of the great northern where Cooper uses his key to go through the door and sees one arm man. That's why Cooper's head was imposed, after 'Bob was 'defeated' because he was in the state of 'waking'.

We do not see Cooper come out of the lodge for real until episode 18. He was basically stuck there the whole series up to that point, that's why the red room scenes mirror those from the first couple episodes.
