So has anyone not seen the Lucy Lui vids for "Rise: Vampire Hunter"? It's a movie about a woman (Lucy) that is turned to a vampire and seeks vengence upon those that turned her. One of this is kind of cool, she wakes up on a morgue slab. __________________

I have seen nothing about Lucy Lui's film Rise except a few articles and the info on imdb.com.

I haven't heard about the Lucy Lui film and also I don't have HBO.
 *Just checked up on the Lucy Lui film, it sounds intriguing. I didn't really understand though where it said limited release on June 1st, does that mean not every where in the US will get it? Or that it may come out at a later time? __________________

It's a premiere release....it's officially out on 6/17, I believe. And I got the name wrong....it's Rise: Blood Hunter. Apparently it was filmed some time ago, as Mako is in it (yes THAT Mako). Hopefully that's not a sign that the movie's bad.

Indeed, Mako is a legend.
I finished Dead Until Dark last night and plan to pass it on to a friend. Won't be able to start a new book, though, since everything is packed. |

For those that don't want to read the link. Mako is probably best known for his iconic image in Tora! Tora! Tora! he's also played in hundreds of films throughout his 50+ years in the film industry. __________________
